The Option Trading Blog is the personal trading blog of Kevin Harper. I’m a risk-taker by nature, so follow my trades with a due amount of caution!
I love trading options. I love the freedom it gives me to be with my family, and the feeling I get when I make a good trade. For you golfers, compare it to that perfect shot; when you’re on the course on a beautiful day and feel the solid “clink” of your driver knocking the ball onto the green. That’s what it’s like to make the occasional really good trade. The trades in between are simply noise.
Is it painful to hit a few balls into the rough? Absolutely. I’ve experienced my share of pain in options trading. But the rewards are worth the risks to me, or I guess I wouldn’t be coming back to my trading screen after three long years of taking a break from it.
